Surrender Application

As a volunteer-run non-profit, we do not have the ability to house large numbers of animals. Also we are unable to take certain breeds due to insurance limitations. If you need to surrender an animal, please fill out the application to the best of your ability, and we will contact you if we have space available.

You may also choose to use the “No Place Like Home” program created by Clark County Animal Shelter which allows you to post the animal for adoption yourself. Click here to learn more.

NOTE: We are not animal control and do not pick up stray animals. If you need to report a stray in Montgomery County, please contact Montgomery County Animal Shelter at 859-498-8751. If you have caught a potential stray, we are able to check for a microchip on the animal to attempt to locate an owner (this does not guarantee we can take in the animal).

There is a surrender fee of up to $50 for cats or dogs. This fee covers spay/neuter (if needed), vaccines, flea treatment and deworming.

**All animals taken into our facility must pass a temperament test before being accepted.
