Meet Ruthie

Ruthie has not had a great start to life, but we can assure you that she is the most gentle and loving dog. She has the most adorable wiggly stubby tail that never stops once you've won her heart.

Her stunning, piercing blue eyes that tell a sad story but also has hope for a beautiful ending. Due to her past life it takes a her a little while to warm up to new situations and people. She had been with us for a while before she fully learned to trust us. Oh but once she did, she has really come out of her shell, showing us what a love bug she truly is. She needs someone with patience to help her transition into the sweet playful girl she has become. She’s very affectionate, a hugger and likes being involved with whatever it is you’ve got going on.

Ruthie is dog selective, and we feel a more calm relaxed canine sibling would be a better companion for her. She would really benefit from a life outside of GAHS where she can shine to her full potential of roaming the yards by day and getting all the love/snuggles at night.
